When you submit feedback, we collect:

Through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider:

Local Storage

The majority of your data is stored locally on your device:

• All habits, notes, and completion records are stored in a local database
• Media files (photos, videos, audio) are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers
• Local data is protected by iOS device encryption

iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you sign in with Apple:

• Your habit data syncs to your personal iCloud account
• This data is encrypted and stored by Apple
• We do not have access to your iCloud data
• You can disable iCloud sync through your device settings

Third-Party Services

• PostHog (Analytics): Data stored on EU servers
• RevenueCat (Subscriptions): Manages purchase validation
• Supabase (Feedback): Stores user feedback submissions

Access and Export Your Data

Settings → Data Management → Export Data

This creates a JSON file containing all your habits, notes, and settings.

Delete Your Data

• Local data: Uninstalling the app removes all local data
• iCloud data: Managed through your Apple ID settings
• Analytics data: Contact us to request deletion from PostHog
• Feedback data: Contact us to request deletion from our feedback database

Opt-Out Options

• Analytics: Analytics can be disabled (contact us for instructions)
• Notifications: Manage through iOS Settings → Notifications → Habi
• iCloud Sync: Don't sign in with Apple, or disable iCloud for the app

Data Portability

Use the export feature to download your data in a portable JSON format.

Data Retention

Children's Privacy

Habi is a general audience app suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
